How to use this activity:
- Give your student a Valentine Clues Inferencing sheet.
- Read the clues to your student, one by one.
- After you read it, your student will use the clues to infer what item is being described and mark that item on their sheet. They can mark the item by coloring it, pointing to it, smashing dough on it, or any other way they'd like.
The grade levels you use this with will change, depending on your student's language skills and ability to make inferences. I use this with my 2nd graders when discussing inferencing skills!

I loved this activity. Peachie Speechie's activities help so much, especially during those weeks you have little time to plan.
This was great for my kinder and first-grade language babies. We would read the clues and guess which picture was being described. Sometimes as an added challenge we would talk about why the clues did NOT describe a certain picture to highlight differences between items. Easy to no prep and really engaging activity!
Grab and go activity to work on inferencing! I love all of these early inferencing activities for the various holidays throughout the year.
Great little activity to use with kids in school setting!
Fun and practical!
