Artic Trays: Set Up for Speech Therapy
When I posted this setup on Instagram, I got tons of messages asking for the details, so here they are! I’m sharing everything you need to recreate this in your speech room. If you missed the original video, you can watch it below.
Let’s start with the mirror and tray from Target.
It’s actually from the bathroom section, but I swear it was made for SLPs! You can grab it in-store or online:
It comes with a mirror, tray, and two storage cups. It’s perfect for letting students see their mouth while keeping tools within reach.

To complete the setup, add:
- Peachie Speechie Mini-Mouths
- A mini can of Play-Doh
- Tongue depressors
- Toothettes
- Lollipops
But the real star?
The articulation cards that fit perfectly on the little tray stand! You can download them here:
Each card includes a mouth image, a target word picture, and three levels of practice: word, phrase, and sentence.
Bonus:
Your students can color their own set to take home! They come in worksheet form and can be used as-is or cut and laminated for durability.
That’s it! I hope you love your artic tray as much as I love mine.
Xoxo,
Meredith
