/plizd tu mit ju/Meredith and Josh Avren became friends while attending Milton High School in Alpharetta, Georgia, then got married years later. Meredith loves speech-language pathology and Josh's loves Meredith. So, together they founded Peachie Speechie with the mission of creating quality graphic goods & creative educational materials featuring their original illustrations. Their materials and designs have earned recognition from the SLP and education communities among others. They enjoy making original products that start conversations and spread awareness of the fields of speech-language pathology and education.
Meredith attended the University of Georgia and Georgia State University and received her masters from GSU. She enjoyed working with children during her internship and began her career at Manning Oaks Elementary in Alpharetta. She is also the co-founder and author at Peachie Speechie & Avren Books.
Josh studied visual arts and graduated from the American InterContinental University. Then, he decided to fulfill his childhood/comic book driven desire to fight crime and policed as a patrol officer for over 10 years. During that time, Meredith and he founded Peachie Speechie in 2012, and later, Avren Books. Since 2015, he has worked full-time on managing the daily business needs of Peachie Speechie & Avren Books.
