AboutMeredith Avren/ Owner

Meredith Avren founded Peachie Speechie in 2012 with her husband, Josh. Meredith is an ASHA certified speech-language pathologist who works full time as a school-based SLP in Georgia in addition to running Peachie Speechie. 

Designer: Together with her husband, Meredith has created hundreds of apparel designs to increase the awareness of the field of speech-language pathology. These designs have earned recognition throughout the SLP community and make the perfect gift for SLPs, SLPAs, and graduate student clinicians. 

Author: Meredith has authored 19 speech therapy workbooks in her popular “I CAN…” series and co-authored the children’s book Chubby Chubby Kitty Fluff. New books are in progress, so stay tuned!

Presenter: Meredith has done poster presentations at the GSHA convention and GOSSLP convention. She plans to travel to California to present on fluency therapy in fall 2019.

Clinician: Meredith manages a full time caseload of students at a local public elementary school. She also supervises graduate student clinicians completing their school based internship programs. Meredith strives to keep students engaged and having fun while also meeting their speech and language goals.
